Dear colleagues! On September 23-26, 2014, in City of Ufa on the basis of the biological faculty of the Bashkir State University will be held all-Russian conference with international participation "Biotechnology – from science to practice", dedicated to the memory of Professor Nailya Kireeva.

The conference will be held as a plenary or section sessions and poster presentations. Conference working languages are Russian and English.


The main directions of the conference work are:

Section 1. Soil microbiology and bioremediation of polluted urban territories
Section 2. Agricultural biotechnology, physiological-biochemical bases of plant resistance
Section 3. Biomedicine, medical genetics and quality of life
Section 4. Molecular biology, genetic engineering
Section 5. Industrial biotechnology


The conference articles will be published in the conference proceedings. The conference proceedings will be registered in the Russian scientific electronic library (Russian Index of Scientific Citation). In addition, it is planned to publish articles in the journal "Bulletin of Bashkir University", included in the List of leading reviewed scientific journals of the Russian Federation.

Organizational issues

For participation in the conference you should send us an article (for conference proceedings or for a journal) and registration information: full name, email, city, full name of organization (institute, university, company etc.) you are working, job title, academic degree, the section of the conference, the title of the article (and authors, if more than one), participation form (oral presentation, poster). Participation for the foreign attendees is free.

Guidelines

For publication in the conference proceedings, articles of 3 to 5 A4 pages should be done in Microsoft Word and have the options: all the margins are 2 cm, font Times New Roman, size of font – 14; single line spacing, justified alignment, indent level 1.25 cm, links to references in square brackets.

The materials should meet the requirements: title of the article made in capital bold and centered, the following line – names of authors, then the name of the organization; after the article – a references list.

The file must be named by the surname of the first author, for example: Smith.doc.

Participants wishing to publish an article in the journal "Bulletin of Bashkir University" have to prepare materials in accordance with the Guide for authors.
